At the Northern Star we believe that all of us are creative beings. We should surround ourself with art and music. We should look for inspiration in the everyday and we should celebrate our communities artist and musicians.

The Northern Star is as much gallery as gathering place. Take time to appreciatte the works of our local artist. Let their work inspire you to be more artisitic in all your pursuits.

Northern Star Music

Too many restaurants and coffeehouses treat music as an afterthought, but not here. Music is one of the most important components in creating the right vibe at a coffeehouse, and at Northern Star, we've hand-selected choice music for our customers, designed our floorplan to accommodate multiple private conversations, and we installed a high-quality sound system.

We now feature live music every Friday and Saturday evening starting at 7:30, Open Mic Night on Tuesday evening, and music events most Saturday afternoons.
